Papers order changed in modal doesn't reflect in carousel

Describe the bug
When we reorder the papers in the pinned modal, the main carousel on the homepage doesn't change in order

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Re-order any subjects in the pinned subjects section

Additional context
The subject's order does change in local storage and pinned modal, so there must be something wrong in the carousel components logic somewhere.
