Changes on Platflorm IO depedences persistent after cleaning project.

Hey @augustinemwendwa72 / @usmanbiu following up on the conversation about uncommitted changes in the external libraries, I would like any of you to reproduce the issue to confirm my observations about those changes being persistent even after performing git reset --hard or cleaning the project.

Steps to reproduce:

• edit one of the libraries in the circled folder, e.g. Serial print something

• upload the code to nodemcu to confirm the changes took effect
• Clean the project and reupload to the firmware to the nodemcu
• observe if the cleaning project has an effect or not on step 1
