Hi we are expiriancing same problem on https://xn--bstonlinecasino-0kb.com/. It is possible to comment out the theme title in the code but after updating the theme it comes back.

The way to comment it out is to go to the theme raft in fileeditor, then inc and then open up core.php and add // before add_theme_support( 'title-tag' ); like this //add_theme_support( 'title-tag' );

But again it works untill you update your theme then you will have to redo it!

Thanks for the fix @erminrajic, that worked for me. I repackaged your idea into a code snippet:

add_action( 'after_setup_theme', function() {
    remove_theme_support( 'title-tag' );
}, 20 );

For those using a code snippet plugin (e.g., Code Snippets, WPCode, etc.), you can use this snippet to avoid directly modifying the Raft theme. It works by registering a function to handle the after_setup_theme hook, which is called after the theme is initialized. When the function is called, it removes support for title-tag. Since Raft no longer supports title-tag, Yoast does not write a title. This leaves the title written by WordPress.
