Ok :D I'll start with the JS mirgration and jQuery removing

Actully removing 90% of files which is not required for v4

the big question is, should we start from scratch and copy the stuff when we need them or migration with the existing code?
the most of the codebase isn't pretty that's why i would recommend start from scratch.

Exactly we are starting from scratch.
Because I reviewed scss and many rules are not used in adminlte v3.

According to #3732 jQuery will be dropped "and plugins replaced". Have you picked out a replacement for DataTables yet?

use jquery and DataTable cdn if necessary
and many js framework use vanilla js like vue-datatable

To clarify, does that mean that AdminLTE will not have a native table framework? Or it will use jQuery (via CDN) for widgets that use data tables?

@REJack @danny007in I have lots of history with AdminLTE and would like to stick with it, but 2-4 months to support Bootstrap 5 is too long. Bootstrap 5 is here, and I have many projects that will start using it soon. I'm not offering complaints, I am offering help to speed this up. I appreciate that @danny007in is championing version 4, but everything seems to be in his head: there are no milestones or outlines of expectations or docs. The v4.0.0 project board is there but most of them are very open-ended.

If either of you want to share a bit more of the plan or create a place for more discussion than "use CDN" I would be a happy contributor. I realize 3.2 is a priority right now but I expect I am not the only one ready for a Bootstrap 5 template and people who want that are probably more likely to switch to another project than update to 3.2 while awaiting 4.0.

I am wondering if there is an update on this. I am just about to start a projekt and using Admin LTE with Bootstrap 5 would be neat.

There will be several tests and adjustment before the first version so if there is way to test the beta demo, this could save time.

This will take time, why not to create a light version for now and later update with dark?
I'm very disappointed...

Yes. It would be nice to have v4 with current stable version of bootstrap. current stable version is 5.1.3. BS 5.2 is in beta1 state, 5.3 is coming only, has not come yet.
