Research Plan: No entries in metadata segment possible

Expected Behavior

• It should be possible to enter text into the metadata fields: DOI, Publication Year, Dates
• Content of fields that refer to external pages (e.g. metadata field DOI, URL, Landing page) should be links not only text after entering and saving
• Metadata fields should contain information about the intention of the field use (e.g. as hover information)
• general purpose of the template unclear, include in chemotion documentation

Current Behavior

• It is not possible to enter text into fields DOI and Publication Year
• For metatadata field "Dates" an entry field is completely missing
• Links to external pages (URL, Landing page) are pure text fields
• Unclear what the use case/ meaning/purpose/ difference is for fields like alternate identifier, related identifier, URL, landing page
• place holder doe not provide any additional value (e.g Format, DOI, Publication Year)

2. open metadata segment
3. see above # current behaviour
