Description
- I am an ELNer
Expected Behavior
Jeol (jdf) files can be uploaded and processed inside the ELN using NMRium.
Jeol files are listed in the docs as being supported if NMRium is used (only not supported for ChemSpectra)
Current Behavior
After a Jeol file is uploaded, the NMRium button stays grayed out. The spectrum can't be viewed even with it.
Failure Information
If the same file is first converted to JCAMP-DX (jdx) format and then uploaded in the same way, the spectrum can be viewed with NMRium (but also ChemSpectra) as expected.
The same JEOL file (jdf) works if it is directly uploaded to https://app.nmrium.com/.
Steps to Reproduce
Attached is an example JEOL (jdf) file.
- In a Chemotion v2.2.0 environemt with NMRium (e.g. Chemotion demo instance), upload the jdf file as dataset to the "Analyses" section of an experiment.
- Select the correct type (1H NMR).
- Save.
- See if you can open it in Chemotion via NMRium as the documentation suggests.
Context
This was first detected in our own instance (v2.2.0), but I see the same in the public demo instance of Chemotion (also v2.2.0).
Failure Logs / Screenshots
I did not see directly any relevant logs.
This is how it looks for me (screnshot from the public demo instance):

This attached zip contains the JEOL (jdf) file that was used as well as the same file converted to JCAMP-DX (jdx).
Quinine_PROTON-1-1.zip
It should be noted that I also tried other (1D) JEOL files. The behavior was always tje same.
