[Node UI Beta] "Edit in Another Tab" node → Cannot destructure property 'x' of 'undefined'

Expected Behavior

• Another tab opens and allows editing as in the classic UI.

Actual Behavior

• JS error in browser console:
  "Cannot destructure property 'x' of 'undefined' as it is undefined"
• Edit tab does not open.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable node-ui beta.
2. Open a workflow that uses the "Edit in Another Tab" node.
3. Click the "Edit" button on that node.

This error happens because the frontend tries to access the x property of a position object that is actually undefined when you click "Edit" on the "Edit in Another Tab" node in node-ui beta. The underlying cause is that the event payload from the openSubgraph routine does not include a position property, so any code that tries to destructure position.x will fail with this error—even if no custom nodes are active. This is a frontend bug, not a workflow or environment issue, and is likely to affect all users of this feature in node-ui beta until the frontend is updated to handle missing position data defensively or to include the necessary property in the event payload. As a workaround, you can check your workflow JSON to ensure all nodes have valid pos arrays, but this may not resolve the issue if the frontend itself is missing the required data. Using the classic UI or avoiding this feature in node-ui beta may be necessary until a fix is released.
