Come on guys, so many posts around like this filled with issues users are having with the newer updates.
I really do appreciate y'all - but how enough people can think these changes are a good idea to make it through to release is beyond me.

Many of the new UI changes are genuine downgrades - the need to click the zoom button in the image panel, rather than just click the image itself to zoom, the missing X on the run button (which some say is back, but not for all of us apparently), half my custom nodes don't display properly anymore, and the list goes on.

I realize that my post is only so helpful given the lack of logs or details, but the fact you also removed the ability to easily check to not send telemetry data has me not wanting to send you guys anything at all aside from posts like these, as I feel I can't trust anyone who doesn't give people the choice (and when the choice is given, I often do send data to help with development because I trust the company not to misuse my data. "We promise" isn't enough).

It's not my intention to be rude, but there is so much wrong with the new updates - a large percentage of the changes made feel like things that should be on nightly or not at all, certainly not the main branch.

Please, just have a look around at how many people have been complaining - many of the users asking questions are new, and unaware of the recent changes - but for those of us who have been using ComfyUI for a long time (I've been here since it's inception almost) these are downgrades in many ways.

Love you all, and I understand that what with all the funding you want to make sure you're moving things forwards - but if we could please do it in a way that doesn't revert or ruin half the features people actually enjoy... that would be amazing.

I do agree too. It maybe the main raison why the frontend is a custom node and not part of the core. It's that frontend bringing all those new thing without asking if that would be a great new addition. Most of the time, it's not.

The bigest bug i have right now with those new frontend, is the drag and drop a png in canvas is broken for png that do have an embed workflow AND extra meta data. It doesn't load if both are there. Why? Why?

I completely agree and hope the old feature of clicking on images to zoom them can be restored.

Just came here to complain about exactly this. You want the two to be close together when figuring out your prompt with larger models, or when you're hunting for a seed. Why run a gen for 20+ steps if you can see after 5 that you'll need to massage things, that can cause a lot of rapid-fire starts and cancellations. Often it's "spot something, adjust prompt, click run+cancel". Both together make a "replace topmost task" button, you can see that as a function in itself which doesn't warrant a whole button of its own, but does warrant having the buttons close together.

I do like the new task management (in the top right, much less awkward than previous versions), it's just that it's not the only place I want to see a cancel task button.
