When configuring and object that inherits from the EntityTableData class, should we configure ValueGeneration in the DBcontext?

ex:
is this suggested or not

                p.Property(p => p.Id).ValueGeneratedOnAdd();
                p.Property(p => p.UpdatedAt).ValueGeneratedOnAddOrUpdate();
                p.Property(p => p.CreatedAt).ValueGeneratedOnAdd();
                p.Property(p => p.Version).ValueGeneratedOnAddOrUpdate();

If your database does that for you, then yes. If it doesn't, you can configure the repository to generate them on your behalf.
