MediaElement for Android nuget Version compatibilty

I am curious how many people or groups/organizations are having issues with current media elements use of media 3 and if we need to bump the version for all the fixes and new features added to media3. I am hoping to wait until 1.8.0 comes out. That should be very soon. I am seeing at least one issue where there are bugs that require updating. Is anyone else having issues with it? I know there are many fixes and feature updates since the current 1.5.0 release that may affect various projects.
