MediaElement: SeekTo

Hello all,

I'm using the MediaElement in an IOS and MacOS-App.
I load Video- and Audio-Files - und I implemented a "repeat a specific part in a configurable speed" functionality.
To realise that, I need the "SeekTo()" functionality.

I meanwhile recognised, that e.g. for Movie-files there's an offset between the TimeSpan which is used for SeekTo(TimeSpan) - and the TimeSpan, which the MediaElement uses after the call.

The MAC-Implementation of the MediaElement uses "SeekableTimeRanges". So it seems not every TimeSpan is possible.

My question now is: How can I handle that problem?

• Is it possible to "round up" the TimeSpan a little bit - to come to my wanted TimeSpan as close as possible?
• Would it make sense to create a Property or Method in the MediaElement to read these "SeekableTimeRanges"?
