"Install Conky" Button in Conky Preferences Not Installing Conky

Clicking the button closes and drops back down the preferences window and doesn't install Conky, so far as I can tell

Also, where are you running from ManageConky? Are you running it from /Applications?

Unfortunately, I already had Homebrew installed and up to date so that's not it.

Please repeat the process you showed me on the video but this time with Console.app open and with "Manage Conky" written in the search bar.

Question: Was ManageConky installed in /Applications by a user other than you, but it is run by you?

Quick question: Is ConkyX.app installed in /Applications?

No ConkyX. Found the issue though. Was on a non-admin account, didn't have permissions to install it the way that it does.

@Eymantia hi! This is not related to this issue, but I wanted to ask, how was your experience with ManageConky so far? After you fixed this problem, did you manage to do what you expected?

I will soon update my site with a star-based rate widget for ManageConky. This way, anyone will be able to rate and submit his/her thoughts.

PS: I am developing a framework that will work just like NSTask but with the addition of launchAuthenticated method which will ...well, execute your task with root privileges. This way, this issue will be fixed.

Until then, lets keep this open.
