improve onramping procedures

We should have enough info for new participants to join the project and get oriented with respect to what's going on:

• add documentation to link to original data and describe it
• describe how new people can get involved in the project (and how to contribute)
• describe how to run various analyses
• start some sort of document (Google Doc? Markdown file? Overleaf file?) for each set of questions/results
