First, Thank you so much for this extension. It is the best executed one I have come across.

We just need to one additional feature to make it perfect for us - the ability to search on custom fields. I know that the API supports GET /search.xml?q=query_string which does search on custom fields too. This would make it the best ever!

Year, you're right. The API supports this, which is great. Currently, this extension does not support custom fields. But I'm working on supporting custom fields and also search in the next major release.

Support for custom fields will not be possible at first; for more information, see #34.

And I added support for searching in custom fields (see #51). Will be included in version 2.
