As part of the Video Game II course, our project was to create a video game on the themes of torment and light. We designed Dimensions, a first-person view adventure game in which the player takes on the role of Lior, a young man suffering from psychosis, and must escape from a psychiatric hospital using interdimensional teleportation to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles.
My main task was to program the gameplay elements, including hacking, object interaction and interdimensional teleportation mechanics.
- Implement inter-dimensional teleportation mechanics
- Develop systems for interacting with game objects
- Design scripted scenery elements that can be easily configured by the level artist.
- Implement a system of puzzles and hacking with interconnected objects.
