preprocessing SLC data with SNAP #2

Hello,
I would like to use the esa-SNAP software to pre-process the SLC products in the SARFish Dataset. However, I can't seem to load these products the same way as I can with the Sentinel1 products downloaded from the ESA website. When I try i run into the following error message:

subSamplingX > 0.0
Has anything been done to the raw Sentinel data (except for adding the annotations) that prevents me from using the SNAP software? If so, is it possible to fix this?
