Service stop / uninstall for update - but how ?

Hello,
i want to update to version 2.1.14 and ant stop the service.

pi@raspberrypi:/opt/dnscrypt-proxy $ ./dnscrypt-proxy service stop
[2025-09-10 22:14:22] [NOTICE] dnscrypt-proxy 2.1.13
[2025-09-10 22:14:22] [NOTICE] Network connectivity detected
[2025-09-10 22:14:22] [FATAL] listen udp4 127.0.0.2:1904: bind: address already in use

How can i stop and uninstall the service?

Add a dash before service:

./dnscrypt-proxy -service stop
