I have a MacMini (Late 2014) that has a Dual Core i5 @ 1.4 GHz with 4 Gig of ram and I am on a P25 system. CPU load is about half at idle, no audio traffic, but when a call comes through it goes to full bar. |

Very outdated CPU. Nothing but headaches in your future. Try something else if you serious about using SDRTrunk. I'd personally even skip the PI's and low-end miniPC's. I wouldn't go less then 6-8 cores/16gm ram for my SDRTrunk setups. Laptops are fine but use a powered USB hub. [https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-3330S+%40+2.70GHz&id=1794] |

When receiving one channel AM, a processor is loaded by 120%. All four cores of the CPU. Even the absence of any listening loads the CPU to 100%. The program's CPU usage indicator bar is always full and never goes down. Is this normal? Is this the case for everyone, or is my processor already very outdated?

OS: macOS BigSur
CPU: Quad Core 2.7 GHz Intel "Core i5" I5-3330S (Ivy Bridge) processor
RAM: 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM
