Virtual metadata not displayed in DSpace 9

Describe the bug

When a user creates his/her researcher profile, a new person item page is added.

The new person item can be related to a publication. When done, even if the relation is correctly created, it does not display as virutal metadata in the item. It is not displayed at all in publication metadata.

To Reproduce

On DSpace Demo Site https://demo.dspace.org/home
Log in with the Submitter account (dspacedemo+submit@gmail.com).
Go to acount Profile
Create Researcher Profile to add a new Person entity item.
Go to an Item with Publication entity type and edit it
In the Relation tab, add the newly person created as Author of the publication
Go to the Metadata Tab
The name of the newly added person is not displayed

Expected behavior

It must be displayed as vitual metadata (i.e if the person is added as Auhtor, dc.contributor.author metadata).

I do not know what to do with this issue. I have just retested it : I can still reproduce it on the Demo site (https://demo.dspace.org/home), but on the Sandbox site (https://sandbox.dspace.org/home), this issue does not occur. It works as expected, the name appears as a virtual metadata.

As discussed in today's Developers Meeting, I believe this may be related to #4648, which was fixed recently in #11263

The issue was that a newly created Researcher Profile was missing the person.familyName and person.givenName metadata fields. These fields are used for display of the virtual metadata relationship in the User Interface...so, when they are missing, that relationship was not displayed (even though it technically exists).

We should re-test this on the demo site using a newly created Researcher Profile. Hopefully it should work there now.

Hi @tdonohue, I just retested on the Demo site. The PR issue #4648 should have corrected the problem (DSpace/DSpace#11263), but it seems not. On the Demo, if a new Researcher profile is created, it does not include the 2 metadata used for virtual metadata display (person.familyName and person.givenName). The name is only stored in dc.title metadata. If I add the 2 metadata to the person item created when activating the Resarcher Proflle, then, it display as virtual metadata in the Publication Item. Maybe something went wrong when porting PR #11263 to DSpace 9_x (DSpace/DSpace#11301)?
