Mechanical vapor compression (MVR) flowsheet doesn't converge #891

I tried do it from scratch because I tought that there could some bugs in the flowsheet (parameter of the NRTL, ...), but I was not able to make it converge. The only way to converge it was to add a material feed (the flow 8) of steam (that is always there and at the same flow rate). By the way, I also found out that I had to click multiple times on the solve button to really converge the flowsheet (for example, the value of the compressor power will change from 24 to 25 kW). But it was not always the case. Here is a video : DWsim_Bug.zip |

Hello,
I tried to replicate a mechanical vapor compression system as explained here in that forum : https://sourceforge.net/p/dwsim/discussion/844529/thread/3a98d99f/.
But I ran in one issue. I am not able to converge the flowsheet and I don't understand why (also I am not familiar with NRTL for the properties)...
In this sheet, you have one effect and one MVR to concentrate a glucose syrup (the sheet is based on the 3 effect sheet in FOSSEE).
Here is the simulation file : MVR_GlucoseSyrup_bis.zip
Thank you and have a good day,
