Any chance to get working multiperiod manifest with xlink?

Hello, I am attempting to implement multiple period static MPEG-DASH manifest. Examples in the Internet are sparse and not-working. I found a couple of old issues with broken links to livesim manifests, and broken page at fraunhofer.de.
I'm interested in the working example of multiple period manifest, something like this:

The second period uses Xlink:

  <Period xlink:href="http://dash.edgesuite.net/dash264/TestCases/5b/nomor/8.period" xlink:actuate="onLoad" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"></Period>

Note that the URL uses http so you need to host the player via http as well or run it from localhost. Otherwise, there will probably be mixed content errors.
