Description
Component
Dasharo firmware
Device
NovaCustom NV4x 12th Gen
Dasharo version
v1.8.0-rc8
Dasharo Tools Suite version
n/a
Test case ID
FWUPD002.203
Brief summary
Seems fwupd interprets the CONFIG_DRIVERS_EFI_MAIN_FW_LSV value and so the cabinet is being discarded as unsupported
How reproducible
100%
How to reproduce
Run the test with v1.8.0-rc8 binaries
Expected behavior
PASS, cabinet loaded, capsule update performed
Actual behavior
Cabinet fails to load
Specified firmware is older than the minimum required version '1.8.0 < 108.97.116
The --allow-older option to fwupdmgr local-install does not help as it's not only an "older" version, but also older than the oldest supported one, at least that's what fwupd gets
