Overview

• Adding OTLP integration tests. These check that the extension will accept a trace and it will be available in Datadog.
• Refactor integration tests including
  • Adding build scripts and build step per runtime
  • Adding caching
  • Deploy stacks and test in parallel. Each test suite has their own gitlab step.
  • Merge test and test setup so each test suite is 1 cdk stack and 1 test file. Example - otlp.ts and otlp.test.ts.
• No changes to the actual extension code.
• Updated readme.

Testing

• Integration tests succeed.
