Latest release v5.7.0 for github.com/DataDog/datadog-go has introduced a breaking change. We are aware of it, and you can find more detail on DataDog/datadog-go#332.

Although datadog-go belongs to Datadog's organization, the repository is maintained by another team outside the dd-trace-go guild. As a general advice, as any dependency potentially can add breaking changes against compliance with semver, we advise you to avoid running go get -u ./... and do targeted upgrades with tooling like Dependabot.

We'll work on better coordination to avoid this kind of situations in the future.
