Rename CID encode/decode methods #9
Description
Seeing them in my code is confusing - at a glance it looks like str.encode()/bytes.decode(), but it's almost the opposite of that. This is, obviously, a breaking change (maybe I could leave the old ones around but annotated as deprecated)
