It can be a bit of a pain to connect an existing resource (RDS instance, for example) with Defang.

It would be nice if you could "import" a resource into a Defang app.

Potential Solution

In a meeting we just discussed the possibility of using an x-defang-import extension with the resource ID from the cloud.
