Personally, I see it as a good practice. As someone who is concerned about fostering culture in my region, I see initiatives like this as very important - sharing information about local communities so that people feel part of them. We have something on InnerSource Commons that shows us the distribution of members (it's still outdated) and this already generates visibility in the local community as well. |

I saw this initiative from CHAOSS APAC Chapter led by our wonderful Divya to create a database website of open source communities in Asia: https://chaoss.github.io/oscdb/
I think having something similar but for DevRel communities across regions (e.g Africa, Europe, Asia) could be an interesting initiative to foster at DRF.
