Wishlist: DevRel Communitties Database (Inspired by CHAOSS Open Source Communities Database Project)

I saw this initiative from CHAOSS APAC Chapter led by our wonderful Divya to create a database website of open source communities in Asia: https://chaoss.github.io/oscdb/

I think having something similar but for DevRel communities across regions (e.g Africa, Europe, Asia) could be an interesting initiative to foster at DRF.

Personally, I see it as a good practice.

As someone who is concerned about fostering culture in my region, I see initiatives like this as very important - sharing information about local communities so that people feel part of them.

We have something on InnerSource Commons that shows us the distribution of members (it's still outdated) and this already generates visibility in the local community as well.

Side note: I was also thinking of having this for for TODO ambassadors and members.

This is interesting, and I'm curious how you see this working out.

Some communities that comes to mind include:

• DevRel Collective (hypothetically global in scope, but realistically it's very western-oriented in terms of membership and participation)
• DevRel/Tokyo (Japan-oriented)
