Hi, i really like your script. But i have a question. If my laptop is unplugged from second monitor all is fine. When i plug in second monitor the background is completly weird. Seems to be as if it will be cut in the middle and replaced up is down down is up. i tried with several resolutions ... not working. so both monitors have 1920*1080 resolution. Any idea how i can fix this ?

Hello.
Sorry for late answer, i did not seen notify.

Look like problem with background-size: cover; or near inside gnome-shell.css
I will do test with dual monitors and will try fix it

I did not found 2 monitors with equals dpi and can't do a test.
But i added --css flag for changing wallpaper params.

Use latest script
https://github.com/DimaZirix/fedora-gdm-wallpaper/blob/master/set-gdm-wallpaper.sh
and try this:
sudo /path/to/set-gdm-wallpaper.sh --css 'background-size: 1920px 1080px;' /image/path
or
sudo /path/to/set-gdm-wallpaper.sh --css 'background-size: 1920px 1080px;background-repeat: repeat;' /image/path
or
sudo /path/to/set-gdm-wallpaper.sh --css 'background-position: 0 0;background-size: 1920px 1080px;background-repeat: repeat;' /image/path
or
sudo /path/to/set-gdm-wallpaper.sh --css 'background-repeat: no-repeat;background-size: cover;background-position: center;' /image/path
or you can try google:"#lockdialoggroup multiple monitors" and use css examples from answers

Anyway we need get right css for #lockDialogGroup block inside gnome-shell.css, maybe gnome developers will help...

I added this css templates to "--resize N" option. Values:

    0 - background-repeat: repeat;
    1 - background-repeat: no-repeat;
    2 - background-repeat: no-repeat;background-size: cover;
    3 - background-size: 1920px 1080px;
    4 - background-size: 1920px 1080px;background-repeat: repeat;
    5 - background-position: 0 0;background-size: 1920px 1080px;background-repeat: repeat;
    6 - background-repeat: no-repeat;background-size: cover;background-position: center;
