Re: book content - I only had the time to read the OWASP chapter - which is great, my only feedback there is that while you are inviting the developers to check out the OWASP projects in general and asking developers to actively contribute to OWASP projects, I think it would be good to also list the most important projects and tools they can start using straight away like ZAP, ASVS, Top 10 and Proactvie Top10, JuiceShop, SKF, DelendencyCheck, DefectDojo and others that you think are useful to be embedded in developers' daily life.
