Thanks for subsecond and question about release

Hi dear and brilliant people!

I just found out https://docs.rs/subsecond/0.7.0-alpha.0/subsecond/index.html: I haven't tried it yet but if it works I think it will change my life.

I have a big project that unfortunately is not so easy to refactor and even if I refactored it maybe it wouldn't change much in hot-reload times.

I wonder: once I add the necessary code (for example subsecond::call()) then with the build --release it disappears?

Yes, in debug release, we do an early return which rust should be able to optimize away. The dependencies will still be required since there's no way to disable those in release, but they should also be dissolved away.
