How to stop IDLE?

I'd like to run IDLE and have it return after the timeout. I need to keep parallel connections as low as possible. As such I'd like to run some flag updating and stuff in between IDLE timeouts.

But I can't see a way to stop/return from an active IDLE

Hi @CReimer, this isn't possible at the moment. Not sure yet how we could accomplish this yet without any breaking changes.
