How to setup SSO for an already working LDAP integration?

Hey,

Firstly, thank you very much for this amazing package.

I have used this package with our Laravel application and users are able to successfully login to the application.
We now need to have SSO in place so that as soon as user hits the Laravel application, he/she should be auto-login based on the SSO.

I read the documentation but it covers some multi-domain concept which I couldn't understand. Can you possibly guide as to how can I achieve SSO for our users?

We are using:

• Laravel: 8.x
• LDAP Active Directory
• directorytree/ldaprecord-laravel": "^2.3"

Are you connecting to multiple LDAP directories? If not, then you can ignore that section of the documentation entirely, as it does not pertain to your environment.

What type of server environment are you running (i.e. Windows/Linux Servers)? If you're using Windows Server, the instructions are on the docs:

If you're running a Linux server environment, I can't help you there unfortunately, as I don't have any experience setting that up.

Oh. Unfortunately, our Laravel application is hosted on Ubuntu using Nginx.

Can you recommend or point me to any other issue/discussion/articles/person that might help me on setting this up?

try this. with very little adaptation you can make it work with your existing ldap integration.
