automate spool changes with QR codes and pictures with mobile phone?

I'm trying to simplify filament spool swaps on my printers. I just got a 4 tool changer printer and I'd like to simplify the process of swapping out spools in Klipper whenever I change them on the physical printer. Is there a way using this integration and/or Home Assistant in general to allow you to scan a spoolman QR code with your mobile phone and have it automatically track the spool you just scanned? I know with 4 toolheads, there's a little more work involved to decide which extruder to associate the spool with.

I guess you could write a smart automation in HA with that but I'm not in that topic with multiple toolheads.

Might be a question in HA and/or Klipper imho

I saw this repo mentioned integration with Klipper for filament management, but I couldn't find examples on how it actually communicates with Klipper. I see methods allowing updating data in spoolman itself, but I can't seem to find the Klipper specific resources. Is this integration not able to set the active spool in Klipper? I was hoping that was possible for a jumping off point for me to figure out how to do the other stuff I mentioned.

No, this integration should be only a bridge between HA and Spoolman. Everything else would be out of scope.
