Syncing tabs TO LibreWolf on Linux doesn't work

In Mull, I can see my open tabs in LibreWolf, but I can't see my open tabs in Mull from LibreWolf.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

• Mull 129.0.2 (from F-Droid) on a stock Google Pixel 7

Please update both of your copies to the latest 131.0.2, both are vulnerable to a zero day. Your Librewolf has 25 known security issues and that Mull has 41.

Updating may also fix some incompatibility here.

I'm using the latest version of Mull from F-Droid. I just updated LibreWolf. I forgot to add their release feed to my web feed client. It did not solve anything though.

Updated Mull to 131.0.0, has 14+1+25 security fixes from the previous 129.0.2 release. In order to resolve the compilation issue introduced in 130, Mull is now compiled using Mozilla's prebuilt clang toolchain. This however is incompatible with the F-Droid.org inclusion criteria, so these updates (for now at least) will only be available via the DivestOS.org F-Droid repository. Please note, while this adds a prebuilt dependency, the result does still remain FOSS.

I didn't know about it. I didn't know what was the latest version or not either. I really don't care, and I shouldn't have to care either. It sucks when the users gets thrown between the chair when things like this happens.

And yes. I'm blaming F-Droid for this particular issue. :)

First of all, thanks so much for all your hard work! You really are a one-man privacy army!

I have had a similar problem with Mull for a while, but it has become more extreme. I have Mull installed on a Pixel running Graphene OS and also on a Samsung Tablet running /e/OS. On both devices the Mull version is 131.0.3 (Build #21310320), hg-e69783530d6d GV: 131.0.3-20241014172633 AS: 131.0. (I had this problem on previous installs of Mull from Fdroid).

On desktop Librewolf (131.0.2-1) and Firefox (131.0.2), and Mull on the Pixel I can see the open tabs synced from the /e/OS tablet, but never the open tabs from the Pixel Mull on the other devices. Also on the Pixel, view tabs from other devices often fails and just keeps "syncing" without finishing.

As far as I can see the settings on the Pixel Mull are the same as on the Samsung tablet Mull, so it seems there's something going on with Graphene OS that's stopping the tabs syncing. Background data and unrestricted mobile data usage are both enabled.

Update: "Sync now" hasn't worked recently in account settings on the Pixel Mull. Today I logged out of the mozilla account and logged in again. Now, "sync now" doesn´t work at all and I can't even choose what to sync. Last synced says ¨never¨
This is very odd, as I was able to sync my bookmarks payment methods, and open tabs from other devices into the Pixel Mull when I reinstalled it a few days ago.

Update 2: Ok, so "Sync" is no longer working from the "tabs from other devices" menu on the Samsung /e/OS tab, it just keeps saying "syncing". Neither is "Sync now" working on the tablet "Account settings" page.
