The new version' Traefik is broken?

Just simply install the latest version with the installation script.

As soon as the Dokploy installation script completes, Traefik logs this error and restarts.

The issue happens because Docker creates a directory if the bind mount target (traefik.yml) doesn't exist as a file on the host. Since the install script didn’t create the file, Docker made it a folder, causing Traefik to fail.

Fix:
I removed the incorrect traefik.yml directory and created a proper config file before restarting Traefik.

Suggestion:
Ensure the install script creates traefik.yml as a valid file before starting the container to avoid this issue.

We create traefik.yml when the dokploy container is running you can check here https://github.com/Dokploy/dokploy/blob/canary/apps/dokploy/server/server.ts#L44, I tried to install on a fresh server and I didn't have any issues, files were created

you can also check the logs of dokploy container and you will see the logs of directories being created

I will update the installation script to add a delay to make the traefik container wait for the dokploy container can create the directories and files Dokploy/website@63fc87e

@Siumauricio this issue seem happening when installing dokploy to oracle OCI server (I tried on free tier 1c 1gb ram and flex 2c 4 ram)

seem fine with no issue when installing on hetzner instances.

Sorry to bother on this again @Siumauricio but I also just ran into this on a fresh install unfortunately.

/etc/traefik/traefik.yml is mapped to /etc/dokploy/traefik/traefik.yml in the setup script. And that traefik.yml was actually a directory:

cat: /etc/dokploy/traefik/traefik.yml: Is a directory

Small note that this seems to work fine on some linuxes (Fedora Server works fine, Fedora CoreOS gives me above issue), so can definitely work around it. Not sure what the cause of this is but just to add another datapoint.

Same problem with InterServer with Ubuntu 24.04 and installed with the command "curl -sSL https://dokploy.com/install.sh | sh"

I'm using with Hetzner and Hostinger too. And this problem didn't happen there

Please, give details of the example problem that happens in distribution X, in this vendor with this version, I have tried with vendors like Digitalocean and hetzner and it works fine, probably the issue is in some distribution.

I have been able to reproduce this issue consistently in an Ubuntu LXC. On the other hand, it works just fine in an Ubuntu VM. Both cases were the curl-bash install.
