convert from dwg to dxf

Is there a built-in method to convert DWG to DXF, or do I need to write my own mapping methods between DWG entities and DXF entities?

I tried this method and it worked.

That's how is meant to work, the library reads a dwg or dxf and stores the information in a CadDocument that can be saved in either format.
