Random new lines in Lexicon Definition text box

I can't seem to find any consistent pattern in this, but it seems like random newlines will be added to the definition large text box either before or after any written text, or even if the text box is completely empty to begin with. Even after deleting and rewriting the entry with no newlines, moving back to that entry after viewing another word can re-add the newlines. In extreme cases, I've seen dozens of newlines added to a definition, pushing the text all the way out of the viewing window.
