STG seems to have completely broken with the new Floorp 12 update (firefox fork)

Floorp rolled out a mandatory update from 11->12 today and it seems to have broken STG. All tab groups are being merged into one window, reopening whenever I click on a new tab and not properly displaying tab count in the current group. When I try to restore an old backup, all tabs not in that backup are put in an unnamed group, and whenever I try to drag a tab from that into one of the main group it just starts opening new tabs as if I accidentally had a button held down (i don't)
