[Feature Request] Uninstallation Method Root Mode #1255
Description
Before you submit
- I have searched the issue tracker for open and closed issues that are similar to the feature request I want to file, without success.
- I'm not requesting app support for a specific repo — that's up to repo maintainers
- I understand this might not get built (Droid-ify is maintained by a single person)
What's the problem?
Installation methods are plenty. But uninstallation is still handled by Session only. Utilising root installation method, to also for uninstalling the installed apps, is a proper way.
What would help?
In the cases of root user admin freezing package installer due to several security reasons, this uninstallation issue might resolve.
Alternatives?
2 ways :
- Either provide Uninstallation Methods (Session, Root)
- Or integrate uninstallation directly into root installation option, so that package installer should never be touched.
