I was having crashes, so I went through all the red errors in my Edit log, not mod, and found one from yours that had yet to cause trouble since I haven't gone to the aether yet, but I thought you may want to know about: java.lang.IllegalState Exception: Expected BEGIN_OBJECT but was STRING at line 7 column 1 path $

Do you have a crash log and a latest.log, and maybe your debug.log ?
