MCP incompatible with chatGPT due to icon size

Trying to add OLS4 MCP to chatGPT. Fails due to overly large icon:

Context: I would like to get it, and other EBI MCPs added as official connectors to Sanger ChatGPT.

The MCP spec doesn't have any logos so I have no idea what this is referring to. There are no files in the OLS repo that are 13008 bytes. Seems like an openai bug but I don't know why we are triggering it, can't find any other mentions of it if I search...

ChatGPT automagically loaded icons previously when I added the dev ols4 MCP. I suspect that it is pulling the very large default OLS4 icon (a ChatGPT search suggested that it does that, but didn't provide a reference.)

More usefully - you can specify an icon in the MCP schema

And this one worked for me - specifying it manually in app/mcp form on chat GPT

format is PNG, size is 64x64.

So - I think specifying a favicon-like PNG icon in the MCP schema should allow others to install the MCP on chatGPT without hitting this issue.

But exactly the same error. I don't have time to look into this more today, hopefully tomorrow
