• Upcoming workshop discussion:
  • @bettina-gier proposes to use half the time of next workshop on improving documentation.
  • @rswamina raised the questions of High-level guidance? Accessibility for people with disabilities? - @bouweandela says our Sphinx theme already takes some of that into account.
  • advertise workshop as more "new user friendly"
• @malininae IPCC diags: how to implement Adding diagnostic for cross-chapter box 3.2 from AR6 ESMValTool#4091 and make it faster. Suggestions to work with land_fraction_weighting preprocessor, @bouweandela will look at the code to see if he can give suggestions
• @rswamina question for bouwe about REF and ESMValTool repository links (Check if REF diagnostics have been implemented correctly ESMValTool#4024) - csv file not showing up in html output (but available in the work folder). Figure captions are from ESMValTool, generally not overwritten by REF. REF by default only modifies the recipe.
• @katjaweigel asks about ERA5 obs4mips data, as it's not really downloadable - server extremely slow and now files disappeared from the server. They're deploying a new ESGF version, maybe that. Servers are currently being very flaky. Less urgent now as beta release is done. @bouweandela will ask in the REF meeting next Friday about the data at LLNL. Could also ask on ESGF mailing list. Metagrid shows some data.
