10-year ESMValTool anniversary!

Dear @ESMValGroup/esmvaltool-developmentteam ,
time flies and we realized that we have a 10-year anniversary of ESMValTool coming up!
Thanks to all of you, we are around now one full decade, and we thought that would be worth celebrating.

We had the idea to create a 10-year anniversary video that we can post on our website with developers and contributors from those 10 years congratulating ESMValTool to its anniversary. The video would then consist of short self-recorded videos that are compiled to one clip. We want to show the diversity and atmosphere of the community in this video since this is, of course, one of ESMValTool’s most important characteristic! We all make the software to what it is.

We therefore need your involvement!
Former, new or future developer and user, you are all welcome to participate:

• Record a short message (10-15 seconds) with for example your cell phone (landscape format preferred)

• You can sing/rhyme/play the short message, but you don’t have to. The style is up to you.

• Upload the video to the following Nextcloud folder: https://nc.uni-bremen.de/index.php/s/9CNW728z5yG6Pym

• Send an email to Birgit Hassler ([email protected]) and Axel Lauer ([email protected]) to let us know the video uploaded

We would like to show the video at our virtual celebration on December 17th (more information about this shortly!), so please send us the videos not later than December 10th.

Hey all you folks from the @ESMValGroup/esmvaltool-developmentteam,
please don't forget to provide us with a short video clip for our 10-year anniversary video!
We have received a few clips already, and the anniversary video shapes up to be awesome! (Of course we did not expect anything else... 😉
