First discussion point and a proposal for a highlight/additional section in the release notes

Hey guys,

This looks a bit barren, I guess the main discussions happen in ESMValTool land, but heyho, we can talk here too! 🍺

I have an idea for a new highlight/extra section for our release notes - I'd like to list any informal partnerships we bridged over here during any given release cycle (on GitHub, but not only restricted to GitHub) with people/institutions/groups that helped us go over certain issues, or we helped them in a more significant way, or they decided to fork our repo and use it for their own project etc - anything that is more than one or two issues we/they opened in a repo - for instance, we have been in close contact with the Julia package maintainers since the start of the year and we've been getting a lot of useful input from them, including a couple new Julia package builds they produced to include issues we've noticed! So something like this in the release highlights, or as an additional note. What do you think @ESMValGroup/esmvaltool-coreteam @ESMValGroup/userengagementteam
