Updated Nebula 3.3.0 release date?

According to https://github.com/EclipseNebula/nebula/milestone/12?closed=1 the Eclipse Nebula 3.3.0 release is due by December 12th, 2025. We are highly interested in that release in particular due to the fixed bugs #672 and #673 and we hope that it would not be necessary to wait until the next Eclipse release for this becoming available.

Is it possible to get an updated release plan information?

I did a milestone build just now

Currently it references this site:

https://download.eclipse.org/nebula/updates/milestone/S202601240135

This site will exist until the next release cycle does it's first milestone buidl so it's "safe" to use until the actual release.

It's also easy now to create a release by doing a release build which will promote the content at this site, but that's for someone else to decide.

Not really. The previous release was not really so long ago. I’m sure those who make decisions will read this.

Hi,

I'm using the CDateTime 1.5.1 fix from Nebula 3.3.0 (not yet released).

Since there's no official release yet, I'm using this Maven/Tycho configuration:

org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.cdatetime;bundle-version="[1.5.0,2.0.0)"_

This works fine with version ranges, but I have concerns:

1. Will the nightly build N202512301930 remain available long-term?

   • Many developers on our team are using older versions
   • I'd prefer everyone to pull and build with the same specific version (1.5.1) before upgrading

2. Do you delete old versions from nightly repositories?

   • If yes, how long are they retained?
   • Should we always use version ranges with nightly builds?

3. Recommendation for production use:

   • Should we wait for the official 3.3.0 release?
   • Or is using version ranges with nightly the recommended approach?

Then reconsider exactly what I already suggested earlier about using the milestone repository.
