Hello , I am completely new to hacktoberfest and open-source how should I proceed ,???

1. Head to https://hacktoberfest.com/
2. Sign up if you don't have an account already
3. Once you finish, you will be redirected to a page similar to this

4. Click on edit info, choose your role, and hit the save button

5. How to participate?
