Integration of new Frsky receivers in EdgeTx 2.11

There will be new Frsky receivers "Archer Plus Lite".

Will you please integrate these into EdgeTX 2.11

It is important to do this already in 2.11 cause this will be the last Version of EdgeTX that supports the x9Lite/x9liteS and X7 we use for training with our young pilots.

Describe the solution you'd like

Integration of new receivers into EdgeTx 2.11 in the future, cause this will be the last version that runs on the smaller STM32 processor.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Generally speaking: There will surely come some other receivers in the future. Probably it would be better not to code the names/definitions of the receivers into files like "frsky_pp2.cpp" and "pxx2.cpp" - instead they should be written in a YML file that could be mended without compiling new code. (File could be read while starting EdgeTX)

The FrSky radios support ACCESS, and others using the 4-in-1/older-module have ACCST support. So they should work.
As for the configuration of the Gyro, the "FrSky Gyro Suite" supports the latest firmware.
I have a few Archer Plus SR10+ units, and they work great with older FrSky X10 and TX16 with MM.

Do you have any of them to test them? Use the 2.11.4 to test, there have been some fixes for FrSky radios.

Sorry for being overhasty.
The first receivers are still on preorder. Should be start of March till I get the first one, then I can test.
I still have in mind that when the Archer plus Receiver were introduced we couldn't access the option menu of the receivers cause they were not listed in the table of the radio firmware.
(Registry and binding worked, Stabi-scripts should be no problem cause the information is part of the script and can be added.)
But without the option menu (firmware of the receiver) you can not alter PWM-timing, disable Telemetry, use 25% Telemetry or select the type of protocol.

That is correct. We might need a dump of these options as it seems FrSky hardcodes them based on model name/ID rather than discovering them based on the protocol querying the capabilities.

So we might need a good soul to dump these ;-)

That might have been done by extracting the info from a compatible Ethos version last time (not sure anymore).

An an owner of legacy TXs like FrSky X9lite S, I also am interested to see new Archer Plus receiver integrations into EdgeTX 2.xx

I've written that issue also to OpenTx hoping Bertrand is adding the information into a pull request.

Also I think Mike Blandford (MikeB) did evaluate the right information first on his own (and later he copied the code from OpenTx ).
