Wrong GPU driver suggested, because DCH not identifying

Hi, I've been using your tool for a long time (thanks!) but recently I had to manually uninstall and reinstall some drivers and ever since I have been getting this error, no matter if I am on an old or the latest driver. I've fully cleared the config/gpu/os data files and redownloaded etc. but have not managed to fix it.

I've run the debug command and everything appears to be correct bar the "OnlineGPUVersion" which is listed as 472.12 and I assume this is where the issue is, but I have no idea how to proceed.

I have a rtx 3080 and am running windows 11, which seem to line up to the gpu and os IDs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

aha! I was double checking the other bug reports (I had originally thought this would be unrelated because of the title) and tried the "experimental metadata" line you suggested for the similar error of being unable to retrieve GPU information entirely and it seems to have fixed it, it now correctly shows 595.71 as the offline and online drivers, and tells me I am up to date.

OK apparently TNUC is identifying your computer as non-DCH... which is kinda strange. Furthermore, DCH has been an thing since like 2021. So this code should probably be discontinued...

I need to investigate why your computer doesn't have that DCH registry entry...

DCH is a newer type of GPU driver. But since your computer is identified as NOT DCH, it strictly searches for such driver. Latest one was released 2021.
