Payment without HTLCs marked as pending

In edge cases, CLN (v25.09.1) is showing payments as "pending" in listpays, while listpeerchannels | grep <payment hash> shows no HTLCs. We dont know why that happens, but our guess it not handling temporarily HTLCs as it should to mark the parts as failed. Could also be our first hop force closing but there is no way to check payment hash of HTLCs on a channel when it is in the process of going onchain.

If you listsendpays (the lower-level API) on that payment hash, what happens? And are you using start and limit with listpays?
