The word "usage" in the Commands page should link to the usage section for that command

Couple days ago I tried really really hard to understand the deform command. I spent upwards of 20 minutes trying to figure out how it worked, trying to tease out information from a mod on the discord, because I couldn't see ANY examples AT ALL of how to use it. I was utterly clueless. They clearly thought I was an idiot. What actually happened was I only ever saw the commands page.

There is no indication on the commands page that there is more detail later on. No links, no mention of the usage section, not even a notice at the top of the wiki that it expands on things multiple times (which wouldn't have been enough, mind you). I was certain I was looking at the only documentation there was for this command. It was extremely frustrating. I think every mention of something should link to where it is explained in more detail

The communication on Discord appears to have been directing you towards multiple other pages, so if you only saw the commands page, that would be on you. We also have a search bar on the page, which gives the correct section when searching "deform".

We might be able to link out from the commands page, but given it's auto-generated from the command help in-game, it's difficult to just add to it. We can't just change the text as it must read correctly in-game as well. It would probably also be prudent to link to the wiki from each command's help in-game, but that is again more effort.

Would it not be possible to edit the code that generates the commands page so it behaves differently from the ingame display?

Somewhat, but it's still more involved than just "edit the text" and comes with the caveat that the docs code now contains documentation too. i.e., what I mean to say is that it's not a trivial change and unlikely to happen soon given the time we have.
